Start your day with a fantastic time at Black Dragon Pool! Before 9:00 am, as usually every morning, many locals gather for dancing. If you like, just join them. If you want to explore the rich Naxi minority culture, a visit at the Black Dragon Pool and the Dongba Museum is very informative. Additionally, in this tour, you will get a precious opportunity to learn Taiji, one of the crucial points of Chinese culture. Taiji Quan, as it is called in China, has many beneficial effects such as relief and keeping fit at the same time. A memorable experience at a very beautiful and special place!

Tour Details

Day 01: Lijiang


Meet your tour guide at the front gate of Black Dragon Pool at 8:30h. While enjoying beautiful scenery here, you can also watch local square dancing, join in the dancing if you have interest (about 30 mins). Afterwards, learn Taiji Quan, from a local Taiji teacher (about 30 mins). Taiji is which is one of China’s crucial parts of local culture. We then pay a visit to the Dongba Culture Museum, where we are exploring the rich Naxi minority culture for about an hour. The short morning tour ends here and is over at about 10:30h.

Note: The Dongba Culture Museum is closed on the first and third Monday each month!
