We can only write very positive words for The wonders of Yunnan and especially for Kaylee, our contact person at the agency, and our driver Gavin. Our driver picked us up at the Kunming airport, we drove to Jianshui, and the Yuanyang area, where we hiked in the rice fields and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset from wonderful spots, before stopping at Stone Forest on our way back to Kunming (4 days, 3 nights). We travelled to Yunnan over Christmas and were in contact with Kaylee beforehand: she designed the itinerary we wanted, enriching it with precious and practical suggestions. She shown big flexibility and readiness to help and support us when we wanted to reschedule our tour, as we could start a day earlier. She speaks and writes excellent English, which allowed a very smooth and precise communication all the time. Our driver/guide Gavin was reliable, helpful, kind, proactive and spoke very good English: many plus to make our trip memorable and trouble-free. Moreover, as very positive note when it comes to customer service; Kaylee was in contact with us during the whole tour to ensure everything was running smoothly. All in all, we can only recommend the Wonders of Yunnan if you wish to arrange a smooth trip in Yunnan and even in others regions nearby.

I was staying two weeks in Kunming to take classes of Mandarin and wanted to take a private tour out of Kunming city while there. Upon the suggestion of my language school (Huayang Academy for Language and Culture), I chose to take a tour of the Stone forest with WOY. Christy, a specialized travel advisor, was exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful in defining the program of the tour, although it was upon a same day notice. Two hours later, Vivian, my tour guide and a very courteous driver met me at the school with a nice limousine and the adventure began. I could not have asked for a better trip. Vivian made the one-and-a-half-hour journey to the geological park really interesting and was able to answer all my questions be it on agriculture, soils, daily life in the Chinese countryside or on the cultural minorities who live in this region. We arrived early in the afternoon and although it is a rather touristy place, it did not feel crowded at all. We were able to enjoy a nice and quiet tour on the walking trail, along which you find musicians playing ancient instruments and dancers in traditional Yi costume. The sceneries are breathtaking and could not be compared to anything I had seen before. Vivian has plenty of little stories to tell about this amazing Geological Park, which made the tour much more interesting than if I had been visiting on my own. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Both Vivian and Christy are 100% fluent in English, which is not so common in southern China So glad I went there. I highly recommend!
