Although I have been familiar with events in China from an economic perspective, and with Chinese people in Southern California, the trip was still a surprise for me. WOY was very attentive and proficient. Interestingly WOY was a sample of Chinese hospitality and efficiency everywhere. I was used to the hospitality of The Land of Smiles, Thailand, and China turned out to be equally congenial. Whatever I asked for, I got. Yunnan is a remarkable part of a remarkable country. WOY aims to please and it does so. I asked to meet families with 8 to 10 year old kids as well as see places and we had some great home visits including a birthday party dinner for an 8 year old girl in Kunming and dinner with two 9 year old girls and their extended family in Dali. The stage show booked by WOY in Lijiang is ranked as one of the greatest stage productions in the world and properly so rated.

We enjoyed the services of Wonders of Yunnan for our traveling around the Province.It was an individual tour, with a driver and a guide whenever visiting attractions or cities. We spent 8 days there, and the whole trip was well arranged. The displacements from Kunming to Dali and from Lijiang to Kunming were done by train in comfortable sleeping cars, thus saving time for displacement and money for hotel. Exhaustive visits around, good guides and drivers.Good hotel choice (but in one case). A special thank to Vivian, our guide around Kunming and the terrace fields, who passes plenty of information on ethnography, plants, way of life, food, and art. Good value for money.

And our every moment in Kunming was Made more exciting or enjoyable by Wonders of yunan, they are so good in email communication and guided us to best uses of our time. really appreciated. And our tour guide Cherry was another awesome young lady and my wife n kids really enjoyed her company. And there is nothing more to say about Stone forest....it's an masterpiece of nature and a must must see items if someone visit Kunming any time of the year.
