At Kunming Changshui International Airport, choosing a shuttle bus to get transfered to Kunming's downtown or vice versa would be a cheap and relatively quick way. There are 2 different companies offering shuttles. The Yunnan Airport Motor Transport Service Co., Ltd is covering six lines with its Airport Express.

Besides providing "safe, comfortable, punctual and convenient transportation service" to passengers arriving at and departing from Kunming's airport, departing passengers can also conveniently get their boarding pass reserved at various bus stations across town, among them the train station, the western bus terminal and the Kunming Hotel. The price for this airport shuttle bus is 25 CNY / per person.
