Wonders of Yunnan Travel carefully selects hotels with international standards especially for our guests. We offer you a selection of four different hotel categories for all major and several less popular destinations so you can choose according to your personal needs and budget:

Luxury: This category includes either famous international hotel chains, like InterContinental and Crowne Plaza or exquisite boutique guesthouses. Guests will enjoy an extensive range of facilities as well as comprehensive and highly personalized services from multilingual staff. Properties in this category display excellent design, quality, attention to details and an international cuisine. For guests with high demands wishing a luxurious experience at central or special locations.

Comfort Plus: Mostly local 5* hotels but with lower prices and less upper-class services than the luxury category (local and international chains). These hotels provide a wide range of facilities and superior design and are typically complemented by service standards that reflect the varied and discerning needs of its guests in terms of rooms and restaurants.

Comfort: A category mainly including hotels of local chains, mostly with extensive local designs as well as nicely arranged and spacious rooms. Fair mid-range prices usually include a large breakfast buffet, not only for the Chinese taste.

Economy: Simple but clean hotels, guesthouses or hostels. Services and guest facilities are typically limited to keep room rates affordable and competitive but may be available upon request or fee-based. Especially for budget travelers, often including Chinese and ‘western’ breakfast.

The hotels listed in our exclusively arranged and frequently updated Hotel Choice below are our first choice for your tour around Yunnan. During peak season and holidays it may be possible though that some of these recommended hotels are fully booked. In such a case we will have to change to other hotels not listed here, but with similar standard.

As our guest to China you are of course free to also choose your accomodation yourself. Please let us know your preferred accomodation and we will check availability and prices and - if requested - also include it into your tailor-made travel itinerary.
