Visitors to Yunnan arriving by plane mostly arrive at Kunming Changshui International Airport. It is the biggest airport hub in Yunnan. Further major airports are located in Dali, Lijiang, Shangri La, Jinghong / Xishuangbanna and other destinations. They are all connected with major Chinese cities as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and airports of Kunming, Lijiang and Jinghong also serve international routes within Asia.
Plan your holiday well. It might be a good idea to travel outside of public holidays when in Yunnan and China.
