PayPal is listed as one of our four different payment methods. As the quickest and often also easiest transfer option (only a credit card is needed), a lot of our guests use it particularly for short-term bookings. At the same time, the transfer fee is relatively high though.

Combined show and eating events are numerous and popular all over China. The Dish-Serving-Dances in Yunnan's Nanjian Yi Autonomous County is a bit different though. Dancing while serving their guests dishes, is an important etiquette of the local Yi people.

While most places of Yunnan don't get as hot during summer as many other places all over China, cooled and refreshing snacks are still very popular. Made out of all sorts of different ingredients, they have one thing in common: they are cold or even iced dishes.

While Iva finished her personal 'Across China on Foot' on August 9th after a total of 1635 km, we today publish her walking route in the Chuxiong area, which she passed in the first half of July, leading her to Dali, "a great road for singing and kicking stones".

With an average elevation of around 2000 meters above sea level, Yunnan features huge differences in altitude: while Yunnan's north borders Tibet and the Eastern Himalayas (up to 6740 m), the subtropical landscapes of the south are not higher than 100 meters.
