The Kunming City Museum is a history museum in Kunming City, Yunnan, China. Smaller than the Yunnan Provincial Museum, its most notable exhibit is about the history of the city. Other features include a dinosaur exhibit and a rotating exhibition space that holds anything from history to art exhibitions.

Pu'er City is a prefecture-level city in Yunnan Province, China. In 2007, the city of Simao changed its name to Puer city. By doing so, it has had an effect the size of the official Puer tea production area. The urban administrative center of Pu'er is Simao District, which is also the former name of the city itself. Pu-erh tea is a major product from this region. A major downturn in the price of tea in 2007 caused severe economic distress in the area.
Pudacuo National Park is a 1,295 km2 large national park located in Shangri-La County in the north of Yunnan Province. The park was announced on 25.June 2007 and is notable as the first national park in China to meet International Union for Conservation of Nature standards. It incorporates the Bita Lake Nature Reserve and the Duhu Scenic Area in the Hongshan region. As such they are part of the Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas World Heritage Site.
